In honor of School Board Recognition Month, we proudly recognize our Paramount Unified School District Board of Education for their dedicated service to our students, staff, and community.  Our board members work tirelessly to shape the vision policies and priorities that support student success in every classroom. Thank you for your leadership, your commitment to public education and the countless hours you invest on behalf of PUSD students and families- we are very grateful for you!

Alondra Middle School celebrated student creativity and musical growth during An Evening at Allondra: 2025 Winter Music Concert on December 11. Directed by Mrs. Jenna Krakower, the concert featured performances by band, orchestra, and choir students at all levels, from beginning ensembles to advanced groups. The evening highlighted student talent, teamwork, and the strong support of families and staff, showcasing the positive impact of music education at Alondra Middle School.

Paramount High School’s Health Career Academy was highlighted as the keynote presenter at LACOE’s CTE Spotlight event, recognizing the Academy’s growing impact in preparing students for future careers in health and medical fields. Senior Jonathan Ayala delivered an inspiring keynote reflecting on how the program strengthened his interests and confidence, followed by student panelists Mikhael Mercado and Diana Lopez, who shared how hands-on learning and strong mentorship shaped their readiness for college and career pathways. Supported by dedicated Medical Pathway teachers Beth Rogers and Laura Galvan, along with District CTE Coordinator Jason Ito, the students’ presentations showcased Paramount Unified’s commitment to empowering learners through innovative, inclusive, and future-focused educational opportunities.

Hollydale School’s 2025 Winter Concert brought the gymnasium to life with music and holiday cheer as Orchestra, Band, Choir, and Mariachi students—led by Ms. Claudia Zuñiga and Ms. Leola Gravley—showcased their talents for families and the community. The evening highlighted both the students’ hard work and the dedicated support of staff, partners, and families who helped make the celebration a success.
